A leading cover artist from the 1920s through 1940s, H.V Parkhurst has little known about his life. His paintings can be found on the titles of a variety of publisher's books including Doubleday, Fawcett, and Culture Publications for whom he contributed to all of the "spicy" titles: "Spicy Detective", "Spicy Adventure", and "Spicy Mystery".
